The fine print.
Everything in one place: how we handle your information, the rules for using this site, our commitment to accessibility, and what this site stores in your browser.
Privacy Policy
Last updated · September 29, 2026Ferris Chicago ("Ferris," "we," "us") is operated by Ferris & Co. at 1 W. Monroe St., Chicago, IL 60603. This policy explains what information we collect through ferrischicago.com and in the building, and what we do with it. Questions or requests: hello@ferrischicago.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site (the founder interest application, membership applications, the contact form, or newsletter signup) we collect the fields you submit, such as your name, email, phone number, company, and your answers to application questions.
Event registrations. When you register for an event, your registration details are processed through Luma, our events platform.
Browser storage. This site stores small items in your browser (sessionStorage and localStorage) to save unfinished form drafts and remember that you've dismissed a popup. See the Cookie Policy below.
What we don't collect. This site runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability.
How we use it
- Review membership applications
- Respond to messages sent through the contact form
- Deliver the newsletter you asked for
- Manage event registrations and invitations
- Operate, secure, and improve the site
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run our site and communications: our form-processing service, Resend (email), and Luma (events and calendar). We do not sell your personal information. Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy.
In the building
Ferris AI is built into the building and works through voice, wearables, and in-building screens. A building that listens has to earn trust: Ferris Chicago includes dedicated rooms fully outside data collection, clear visual indicators whenever collection is happening, and member access to the data they generate. Member-specific data practices are covered in the membership agreement.
Retention and your choices
We keep application and contact information for as long as needed to process your request and operate Ferris Chicago. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. To access, correct, or delete your information, email hello@ferrischicago.com.
Children
This site and Ferris Chicago membership are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be flagged on this page before they take effect.

Acceptable use
Don't misuse this site: no automated form submissions, scraping, probing for vulnerabilities, or interfering with its operation.
Third-party services

Accessibility Statement
Last updated · September 29, 2026Ferris Chicago is built so every founder can do their best work here. That includes this website and the building itself.
This website
We aim for conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The site uses semantic markup, keyboard-navigable controls, and text alternatives for meaningful images. If something isn't working for you (a screen reader issue, a contrast problem, a form you can't complete), tell us and we'll fix it.
The building
Ferris Chicago at 1 W. Monroe is under construction. Accessibility (step-free access, accessible restrooms, and accommodations for events) is part of the build plan. If you have specific needs for a visit or an event, contact us ahead of time and we'll work with you.
Feedback
Email hello@ferrischicago.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We aim to respond within two business days.
Cookie Policy
Last updated · September 29, 2026Short version: this site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and it doesn't track you across the web.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a cookie notice lets you pick Accept all or Essential only. Your choice is stored in your browser so we don't ask again. Choosing Essential only turns off the optional items below and clears any that were already saved. You can change your choice any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Browser storage
We use your browser's built-in storage (sessionStorage and localStorage) for a few purposes. These items live only in your browser and are never sent to us:
- Essential: remembering your cookie choice, unlocking invite-only event proposal pages, and showing a confirmation summary after you submit a form
- Optional (Accept all only): saving unfinished form drafts so you don't lose your work, and remembering that you've dismissed the ebook popup
You can clear these any time through your browser settings; nothing breaks if you do. You'd just start forms fresh.
Third-party services
When you register for an event or check out on Luma, or interact with a linked service like Resend, those services may set their own cookies under their own policies.
